Pink firemen, trucks ride through Myrtle Beach to fight breast cancer

Submitted/Guardians of The Ribbon

Dressing in pink fire suits and driving pink fire trucks as they travel across the country every year to raise awareness and dollars in the fight against cancer, the "Guardians of The Ribbon" made their way through Myrtle Beach yesterday.

The Pink Heals 2011 stopped at Myrtle Beach Harley Davidson and Drunken Jack's yesterday promoting awareness and rasing funds for breast cancer research. You can read the Sun News write-up here and WMBF here.

Spotted on their way out of town this morning headed down to Charleston, The Pink Heals 2011 National Fire Truck Tour will bring its three Pink Fire Trucks to the Felix C. Davis Community Center in Park Circle. For the North Charleston stop, the North Charleston Fire Department is hosting a cookout and fundraiser benefiting Lowcountry Women with Wings.
