Locals focus on finding healthcare reform alternatives

Instead of waiting for the promise of national healthcare reform to become a reality, some locals are grabbing the bull by the horns by taking on healthcare reform themselves.

Just take Berkeley county resident Donna Ellington or University of South Carolina student Matthew Johnson as example. Both have been lobbying and looking to bring free clinics to the Charleston and the surrounding areas. Others like Reese McFaddin are out there everyday doing their part to help local businesses and individuals lower their healthcare costs.
