A secluded, nature-rich trail in suburban Mount Pleasant

Let's face it, there aren't too many places in Mount Pleasant you can go and feel too at one with nature. I mean, there's marinas, roads, a port, a gigantic bridge, and even an aircraft carrier just hanging around.

That's why I'm pretty intrigued about the hiking trail at Patriot’s Point, from the sound of it the rustic (yet pea gravelled) trail sounds pretty, well, pretty.

Melissa Bigner has a short introduction to it over at Charleston Magazine.

Oh, and you can learn a bit more at S.C. Trails website, and get a map.
