Google Invites Lowcountry Businesses to Get Online and On the Map

(CHARLESTON, SC) – Registration is now open for “Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map” in Charleston.The Black Googler Network is hosting the event and the mission is simple – to help local businesses get found on the web, on maps and on mobile phones. That’s important because although 97 percent of consumers look online for local products and services. But, approximately 40 percent of small businesses in South Carolina do not have a website.
