Oak Steakhouse's smaller portions for smaller prices (update: it's back)

Oak Steakhouse’s 'Smaller Portions, Smaller Prices' has returned to the touted restaurant’s mouth-watering menu.

A favorite among town for hearty portions and indulgent plates, the updated menu is ideal for guests interested in experiencing the cuisine of chef Brett McKee without the bank and bulk. For a price of $15, the small portions menu includes a specialty dish and sides served with a glass of the featured house wine for the day.

Featured items will include dishes such as Brett’s lasagna, barbeque chicken, pork saltimbocca and sausage penne with English peas.

The menu will run through the summer.

We didn't catch wind of this until today, but Oak Steakhouse has rolled out a new menu featuring smaller portions for smaller prices ranging from only $15 to $16.

Chef Mckee's new dinner menu will include:

- Lasagna
- Chicken Parmesan
- Spagattini Bolognese
- Petit Filet Mignon
- Parmigiano Encrusted Pork Chop
- Southern Style Buttermilk Fried Chicken.

Diners will have a choice of two sides with select entrees including Whipped Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, John’s Island Butter Beans or White Corn in a butter sauce.

The new menu will be served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
