The go-to reservation app, OpenTable, has revealed their 2012 Top 100 Wine List and north strand favorite SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar has made the list.

A press release from OpenTable reads in part:

As the time to toast the holidays draws near, OpenTable, a leading provider of free, real-time online restaurant reservations for diners and reservation and guest management solutions for restaurants, is pleased to announce the 2012 Diners' Choice Award winners for the Top 100 Restaurants with the Most Notable Wine Lists in the United States.  These awards reflect the combined opinions of more than 5 million reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

SeaBlue is among some nationally known restaurants that call some of the biggest markets home. There are only four South Carolina establishments making the list. Besides SeaBlue, the only restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area making the list, the other S.C. restaurants are,  Cesca Charleston from Charleston, Hampton Street Vineyard out of Columbia and Red Fish Restaurant in Hilton Head. 

Caroline Potter, OpenTable Chief Dining Officer said of the 100 selected restaurants, 

"These winning restaurants understand that the right sip brings out the best in every bite [...]Each honoree has created thoughtful wine lists that go beyond merely complimenting their dishes. The offerings manage to educate and excite diners at different price points so that discovering a new wine or revisiting a familiar varietal is accessible to virtually every guest."

This isn't the first time this year that SeaBlue has made national lists, in July they made the 2012 Wine Spectator list which you can read about over at MyrtleBeachRestaurantNews.com
