The Indigo Road restaurant group (Oak, O-Ku, Cocktail Club, the Macintosh) is in the process of opening a rustic Italian restaurant, Indaco, that will be serving up reasonably priced pastas and pizzas on upper King Street.

Charleston City Paper's Stephanie Barna reports that former Charlestonian Robert Berry has been hired to helm the kitchen and that the restaurant hopes to be opened in time for Spoleto season.

Indaco will be located at 526 King Street.
