Foothills Brewery introduces its beers to Charleston this weekend

Foothills Brewery's line of beer is coming to Charleston in mid-March, but the curious can score an early taste this Friday and Saturday.

Read more stories on this subject in our beer topic page. Right now (5 p.m.) they're at the Charleston Beer Exchange at 14 Exchange Street.

Tomorrow, Saturday, February 28, at 5 p.m. they're at Mellow Mushroom downtown at 309 King Street.

The lineup at the Beer Exchange includes "Pilot Mountain Pale Ale, Torch Pilsner, Hoppium IPA, People's Porter, Seeing Double IPA and we hear they may be even be bringing a special opportunity to purchase an ultra limited number of growlers of Sexual Chocolate and Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel Aged Double IPA!" No word on what will be at Mellow Mushroom, but I suspect it will be similar.

Word is there will be giveaways at the Mellow Mushroom.

You can learn more about their different brews on their Web site.

The brewery is based in Winston-Salem North Carolina and is only available in the Carolina.
