Update December 22, open: Well it took a good bit longer than they expected (but doesn't it always?) but they're open now.

First reporting, August 25: Avondale's nightlife is getting a real boost in the upcoming months as Mellow Mushroom moves into the old Consigning Women's spot and the fellas from Folly Beach Brew Pub will be opening at new bar called the Oak Barrel Tavern.

The Charleston City Paper has a short but sweet post on the new craft beer and wine spot that'll be sure to have some serious pull.
