A rebirth of the Poogan's Porch menu

Poogan's Porch on Queen Street has been a Lowcountry staple since 1978 — that along with its all-to picturesque building can oft give locals a second thought.

Is it classic Lowcountry staples, or classic Lowcountry tourist staples?

Well, writing for the Charleston City Paper, Robert Moss says that the recent incremental menu makeover by Executive Chef Daniel Doyle has been improving — but Moss seems to think it's far from an all-and-all success.
