Pho Bac returns to Mount Pleasant spot with its tasty soup

Granted a 105 heat index isn't exactly the best time for a hot bowl of tasty beef broth, still I'm always excited to hear about one.

Deidre Schipani dropped by Pho Bac in Mount Pleasant for a little review of the spot that is now back after having moved to North Charleston in 2008 -- and it looks pretty good. Pho bac, pho tai, spring rolls, bubble tea, Vietnamese coffee it all seems there as are large portions and slightly higher than your run of mill noodle shop prices. But they also have free wi-fi.

Take a read of the review over at Charleston Scene -- a lot of it spent actually describing what pho soup is, so if you're new to it, you're in luck.

Also be sure to note the sidebar which has details on the menu tasting held the last wednesday of each month -- which will be June 30.

You can check out the menu online, and the spot is at 1035 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard.
