Winning shots from the City Paper's 10th annual photography contest

Update July 13: The time has come--the winners of Charleston City Paper's 10th annual photography contest have been announced and published in today's issue!

Congratulations to all those that placed in the contest, especially the professional category's first-place winner, Katie Fischer's "Courtyard", and the amatuer category's first-place winner, David Dix's "Pineapple Fountain".

First reporting: Local photographers, take note: It's time to submit your most prized pieces of art into Charleston City Paper's 10th annual photography contest.

You have until July 1st at 5 p.m. to submit your favorite color and/or black-and-white images. All submissions should fit this year's theme: My Charleston. Enter as many pictures as you'd like for an entry fee of $5 each.

The winners of the contest will have their work published in the City Paper's July 13th, 2011, issue and will receive cash or prizes.
