Out of the scorched Myrtle Beach woods comes a rebirth of insect-eating plants

Sometimes the best thing for nature is a good fire.

And South Carolina is seeing proof of that as the 20,000-acre fire that ravaged rural parts of Myrtle Beach has given way to a host of new exotic-in-appearance life like the insect-eating pitcher plants, sundews, and venus fly traps.
