The South Carolina Aquarium's fundraiser to benefit zoos and aquariums affected by Japan's earthquake and tsunami kicks off today.
The fundraiser, called Lend a Hand to Japan, will also raise money for the American Red Cross, which aids victims of the tsunami. The event will feature Japanese food by local restaurants, a silent auction, and live music.
Tickets are a minimum donation of $40; the event kicks off at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
