From the city's description:
The City of North Charleston and the City of Hanahan sponsor the North Charleston/Hanahan Farmers Market.

Every week the Farmers Market features fresh, locally grown produce, as well as herbs, jellies, jams and other delicacies.

The Farmers Market features a variety of special events including cooking demonstrations, nutrition classes and free health screenings. The Market also features special activities and events for children. Face painting, pony rides and a jump castle are just a few of the events the Market offers for children.

The Farmers Market is here to serve community and has a variety of booths full of valuable community information! At these booths, you can receive information about registering for youth and adult recreational activities, crime prevention and upcoming community events.

The Market has picnic tables under beautiful shade trees where you can sit and enjoy your meal or watch the Market's atmosphere.
