Here's some additional information from a press release:
The project, which is funded by the Transportation Half-Cent Sales Tax, aims to address traffic congestion by improving turning lanes and signalization at the Folly Road and Camp Road intersection

The County has already held two meetings on this project, on November 13, 2007, and on May 14, 2008. Normally, there is only one meeting held to gather input for alternatives on a project, but Charleston County Council held a second and now a third meeting due increased public interest in the project.

Those attending the meeting will have an opportunity to make comments, ask questions and review the new proposed alternative for improvements at the intersection.

The meeting will held on Wednesday, August 27 from 7-9 p.m. at the James Island Charter High School (map).
