The running season is upon us; I round them up

If you ever doubted that November was the time to run, let the area's more-than a dozen 5Ks, 10Ks, and half-marathons convince you otherwise.
- Saturday, November 1
- James Island Connector Run: 5K, 10K. Starts in downtown Charleston.
- Newington Elementary's The Run with the Dolphins: 5k, and mile fun run for kids age 12 and under. Summerville.

- Old Village Harbor Run: 5K. Mount Pleasant.
- Green & Lean 5K at Brittlebank Park. Downtown Charleston.
- 17th Hilton Head Bridge Run: 10K, 5K. Hilton Head.
- Run 'til the Cows Come Home: 5K. Pawleys Island.

- November 13
- Holiday Festival of Lights Fun: 2 mile run walk (think of it less as a competition and more of a chance to see the Festival of Lights. James Island.
- November 15
- Run for Thanks. 5-mile. Pinopolis
- Folly Beach 10 Mile Run & 5 Mile Walk: Registration card.
- First Charleston Tea Plantation/MUSC 5K Faye Mitchell Memorial Run/Walk. 5K. Wadmalaw Island.

- November 22
- Give Thanks Walk. 5K. Northwoods Mall.
- November 27
- 31st annual Turkey Day Run and Gobble Wobble 5K 5K, childrens run. Downtown Charleston.
- December 6
- Kiawah Island Marathon. Marathon, half-marathon. Kiawah Island.
- Reindeer Run. 5K. Downtown Charleston.
