Update, April 4: Now that the race is winding down, here's what to expect and where to get times.

Update, April 4 midnight: The weather is to be sunny and cooler near 50 in the morning, but will gradually warm to the mid 70s. Here's the full forecast. 

Also, expect a good turnout with the nice weather, and a near-capacity registration of 38,617.

This Saturday, April 4th, will mark the 32nd time runners will have crossed over the Cooper River during Charleston's annual bridge run tradition.

Right now the forecast for a sunny 74-degree day, so expect a crowd on race day.

If you haven't already registered for the wildly popular 10K, there's still time. Just make sure you do it fast, the run is rapidly approaching its 40,000 registration cap, and is only about 1,500 people away from the 38,500 mark when registration jumps from $40 to $150 (the rate hike is for charity).

And you'll have to pickup your packet from the popular Bridge Run Expo at the Gaillard Auditorium on Thursday (from noon to 8 p.m.) or Friday (from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)

All the info you need

The run starts in Mount Pleasant then comes to downtown, loops around downtown, and then finishes at Marion Square. You can park either in downtown or Mount Pleasant and be transported to or from your car by shuttle.

The Bridge Run's Web site has all the core info you need: maps, schedules, shuttles, street closings and so on -- and, yes, even if you're not partaking in the race, keep in mind that in addition to local street closures, the bridge closes at 7 a.m. in BOTH directions.
