The Charleston Battery recently signed two new players: defender Kyle Hoffer and midfielder Jose Cuevas.

Hoffer is transferring from a successful rookie pro season with FC New York. His performance with FC New York gained him USL PRO All-League Second Team honors.

Cuevas spent the majority of the 2011 pre-season with the Battery, during which he appeared in the Carolina Challenge Cup games. He went back to the PDL's Fresno Fuego to play during the 2011 season, during which he was chosen to join the All-Western Conference team.

Get the chance to watch these two new players strut their stuff during the Carolina Challenge Cup tournament from February 25th through March 3rd.
