Registration is now open for the upcoming Race the Roof 5K

This race is a few months out, but on September 17th, the inaugural 'Race the Roof 5K' to benefit Charleston Habitat for Humanity returns to the Lowcountry.

Charleston Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization committed to bringing an end to poverty and substandard housing around the world. Join this mission locally by participating in Charleston Habitat's first 5K Run/Walk; 100% of procedes to go to Charleston Habitat for Humanity.

Race the Roof 5K will be held at the James Island County Park. The 5K course will be timed with prizes for the top categories of runners and will take you throughout the park with scenic views and two water stops. For a look at the official race route, click here.

The registration fee is $25 per person and includes a t-shirt and access to the goodies at the "Runners Table" tent.
