Update January 16:

Though leading for the entire game, Clemson almost so it all slip away in the last seconds as N.C. State came within one point. Still, Clemson won 73-70.

Update January 17:

Here's the write-up and video recap.

Clemson has two hard games coming up: At number 18 Georgia Tech on Tuesday and then number 7 Duke on Saturday, January 23.

First reporting:

13 straight loses.

That's the byproduct of Clemson basketball's matchups after they've bested a Top-25 opponent. And Clemson just beat No. 12 UNC. So by that notion, No. 24 Clemson (14-3) should lose their game against N.C. State (12-5) at noon today, January 16.

Making the match up at North Carolina harder is that the team just defeated No. 25 Florida State.

The State has a good rundown on the today's matchup and what it means for the Tigers; read it here.
