CofC hosts the No. 2 ranked Huskies at home (Cougs get crushed)

Update December 22: The University of Connecticut delivered a good old fashioned butt-kicking to the College of Charleston last night with an easy 72-24 victory over the Cougars.

First reporting: The College of Charleston women's basketball team returns home to host the No. 2 ranked and seven-time national champion University of Connecticut Huskies tonight at 7 p.m.

Tonight's matchup will be the first meeting between the Cougars and the Huskies.

Head coach Geno Auriemma's Huskies have won seven national championships since 1995, and head into tonight's game against the Cougars with a 9-1 record this season. If you're looking to catch some of the best basketball around, you shouldn't miss this game.
