The Charleston Battery will host the 2010 USL-2 Championship match at Blackbaud Stadium on Saturday, August 28 with kickoff set for 6 p.m.

The Battery advanced to the Championship game after defeating the Charlotte Eagles 3-0 last Saturday night and winning the USL-2 regular season title. The Battery will take on the Richmond Kickers who have earned their sixth Championship appearance in the past nine seasons with a decisive 2-0 win against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday night.

Tickets for the Championship match are on sale now starting at just $10 with discounts for groups of ten or more; there is no charge for children four and under. If you can't make it to the game on Saturday, note that the Championship will be televised live on FOX Soccer Channel.
