This Friday marks the 3rd anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings which claimed the lives of 32 people and became the largest massacre on a college campus in American History.

Please join some fellow Hokies in the Charleston area this Friday in a 3.2 mile Run in Remembrance to honor the 32 students and teachers that we lost.

The run will start at Marion Square by the Virginia Tech flag, the meet-up time for those interested in running is 5:30 p.m., rain or shine. Runners will take off at 6 p.m. and take you down King Street all the way to the battery until it dead-ends. Next comes a left on Murray Boulevard and then runners will continue up East Bay Street, then head back up Calhoun Street, finishing back at Marion Square.

There is no registration fee for this run.
