There's a festive stand up paddleboard race hitting the water this weekend: The 2nd Annual Super Scary SUP Race.

Pre-registration for the races will run from 8 until 8:45am at Charleston SUP Safaris, located at 83 Center Street on Folly Beach. There are four different race categories which include the elite, recreational, kids and dog races. Fees range from $20 to $35 depending on your category. In addition to the races there will be raffles, a silent auction and an after party with live music, food and libations.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Pet Helpers and Emerson Rose Heart Foundation.
