College of Charleston hosting simulation of the U.N.

More than 200 students representing 56 countries are registered for the fourth annual College of Charleston Model United Nations Conference, to be held Friday, April 10, and April 11.

The conference is open to the public and the model will debate resolutions in three categories/committees: reform of global finances, women's rights and gender equality and human security.

The conference times are April 10 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and April 11 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Carolina First Arena located at 301 Meeting Street.
