Ever wanted to run a 200-mile relay race? Might sound crazy, but that's exactly what a group of running enthusiasts are doing, starting this morning.

The Palmetto200 is a relay race where teams of 4-12 people cover 200 miles beginning at the Historic Columbia Speedway in Cayce, SC, and concluding in Folly Beach. The race is split into 36 legs.

The second annual Palmetto200 kicked off around 6 a.m. this morning, and it's estimated that the first batch of teams will begin arriving around noon on Saturday to Folly Beach, the coveted finish line.

Over the race, runners will be able to see loads of scenery...but I have a feeling that they'll be more focused on finishing their leg of the race and getting some chill time in the team's van.

All I have to say to all you Palmetto200 runners is this: Good luck!!
