Cooper River Challenge coming June 4th!

Think you have what it takes to catch the biggest fish of all? Then consider registering for the Cooper River Challenge at the Mount Pleasant Pier!

The first date of the challenge is Saturday, June 4th (the other two are September 3rd and October 8th), and on-site registration begins at the Mount Pleasant Pier at 6 a.m. The tournament officially ends at 4 p.m. and is followed by an awards ceremony. And don't try to win by bringing all of your fishing rods! Each participant is allowed only a maximum of two rods.

Prizes are awarded for the largest game in the following categories:

  • Adult Angler
  • Lady Angler
  • Youth Angler (12 and under)
  • Senior Angler (60+)
  • Total Weight of 5 Fish

It costs $7 to register youths, $9 to register adult (over 13) Charleston County residents, and $12 to register adult non-County residents.
