Myrtle Beach Pelicans hosting World Series party

With its Major League parent club battling for the first World Championship in Texas Rangers history, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans have teamed with Broadway Louie's for a World Series Viewing Party on Thursday, October 27th.

Everyone is invited to attend free of charge. The Pelicans will provide raffle prizes for drawings every inning, and the best dressed Rangers fan at the event will win a premium prize package. There will be beer specials with $1.50 Bud/Bud Light drafts and $5.50 domestic beer pitchers. This is a family friendly event as kids of all ages can play in the Grand Strand's largest sports arcade.

Myrtle Beach enjoyed a successful first year affiliation in 2011 with Texas as the Pelicans qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2008. If the Rangers win one of the next two games in St. Louis against the Cardinals, featuring former Pelicans shortstop Rafael Furcal, Texas will be crowned World Champs
