Female motorcyclists have been the fastest growing demographic in the motorcycle industry since 1990, when women represented just three percent of riders. Today, women represent 23 percent of all motorcyclists, and in efforts to encourage this growing trend of women hitting the open road, Low Country Harley Davidson is hosting a local Garage Party event.

“Garage Parties have encouraged thousands of women to learn to ride over the past few years,” said Jennifer Oldal, Community Relations Manager, Low Country Harley-Davidson. “The events help educate and build confidence for new female riders, and with July being Women Riders Motorcycle Month, it’s the perfect time to get women involved.”

The Garage Party is an after-hours event that will be held today, July 27, from 6:30-9:30 pm. at Low Country Harley Davidson (4707 Dorchester Road).
