The time warp is done and daylight-saving time is over

Daylight-saving time has ended its run this Sunday, November 4, as of 2 a.m.

I hope you enjoyed your extra hour of snoozing and have updated your clocks accordingly.

You'll wake up to a brighter morning and say goodbye to the sunshine right around the time you get off work. More specifically, sunrise will be at 6:41 a.m. and sunset at 5:26 p.m. in Charleston.

Daylight saving time is back at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March.

But, on a personal note, I agree with folks like George Mathis over at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution who back in 2010 wrote to say we should get rid of this clock-changing nonsense altogether.
