Environmental council to hold first meeting

The Charleston Green Ribbon Committee will hold their first meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 31. They are requesting the public's input.

Here's a word from an e-mailed press release:
At the meeting, committee members will be given an overview of the current Solid Waste Management study process, which was authorized by Charleston City Council. Additionally, committee members will have an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss the need to elect officers at a future meeting, and address necessary administrative tasks. The meeting is open to the public.
