A downtown condominium project that had long since been abandoned is being revived and turned into The Restoration on King, downtown Charleston's newest hotel.

Positioned over the Gap and Lucky Brand Jeans, The Restoration on King will blend old Charleston brick and locally-inspired artwork with the New York City concept of apartment-styled inns. The Restoration will include three floors of 16 one and two-bedroom suites.

According to the article in The Post and Courier, regular rates will range from the mid-$300s to $800 per night, depending on the room.

The hotel is slated to open March 1st.
