On April 29th and April 30th, the 2011 Relay for Life will take place. The best part? Funds raised will go to the American Cancer Society.

The overnight event will occur at the Park West Recreation Complex, 1251 Park West Boulevard. The 12-hour event involves team members taking turns walking laps around a track.

Everything kicks off at 7 p.m. on Friday with Opening Ceremonies. Other events will occur throughout the night, including a Luminaria Ceremony, where candles are lit in honor of those we know that have been affected by cancer.
