Learn about local green happenings at EcoSpiel II

The Mount Pleasant Land Conservancy and Bambu Asian Bistro are inviting the public to a free and informal gathering called EcoSpiel II, to discuss all the ongoing “green” happenings in this region, including the preservation of East Cooper’s natural identity through land conservation and other sustainable living measures.

Bambu Asian Bistro will be offering complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and happy hour drink specials during the event.  Last year’s inaugural EcoSpiel brought together over 75 like minded community members interested in organizing their thoughts and efforts when it comes to protecting our local environment and ensuring future generations will be able to enjoy the same quality of life each of us experiences today.

The event will be held on the outdoor patio at Bambu Asian Bistro, 604 Coleman Blvd., from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 6th.  EcoSpiel II is an opportunity to network with like minded community members, to sign up for the upcoming “Green Up Day”, and to hear from local groups and businesses focused on a sustainable future for this region.

With the wide array of “green” groups and businesses in Charleston, this informal social gathering is intended to raise awareness and provide a format for discussion about future collaborations that will help raise awareness and ultimately benefit the whole community.  Additionally, the event is intended to offer community members the opportunity to voice their opinions and share their sustainable vision for the East Cooper region.

Make sure you attend if you have an upcoming green event or activity to promote!
