The Center for Birds of Prey is hosting "Owls by Moonlight," a special evening event where guests will be awed as owls silently glide over their heads, illuminated by the light of the moon.

"Owls by Moonlight” will feature both indigenous and non-indigenous species of owls, from the small screech owl that lives in the Charleston area, to the largest owl in the world, the Eurasian Eagle Owl. The evening will include flight demonstrations, educational owl discussions, and an introduction to the Center’s newest (and youngest) feathered members of the Center’s education team. Guests will encounter owls up close and personal in the Countess Alicia Paolozzi Owl Wood while enjoying hors’ devours and sipping wine, beer, and soft drinks.

The event will take place at The Center for Birds of Prey’s 150-acre campus in Awendaw on Thursday, March 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with a rain date of March 22.
