Ted's Butcherblock, Charleston's neighborhood butcher shop and cafe, will formally introduce its new food truck Saturday, March 2, at the annual Locals' Block Party from 12 to 5 pm.

Here's more on the delicousness the truck will be serving up:

The new truck will hit the streets in the coming weeks, offering up some of the shop's signature sandwiches, panini, housemade sausages and more at a rotating and evolving list of venues throughout the Charleston area. Information on the truck's schedule will be available online at www.tedsbutcherblock.com and via the shop's Facebook and Twitter feeds.

The centerpiece of this year's Locals' Block Party menu is a rare Acorn-fed Berkshire Hog from Eden Natural. The hog will be de-boned and stuffed whole as a true Italian porchetta, served with sides of sautéed rapine and panzanella salad for $14 a plate. There will also be a selection of local craft beer on tap and live music from The Bushels.
