Rare Beer Tuesday featuring Spartanburg-based RJ Rockers

Everyone's favorite beer purveyor, Charleston Beer Exchange, is featuring a limited offering from Spartanburg, SC-based RJ Rockers on the growler station Tuesday night.

This one sounds quite tantalizing, from this description on their blog:

As we do every Tuesday at 5pm, we'll be tapping an extra special keg on the growler station for growler fills! The feature this week comes from our own home state R.J. Rockers Brewing Co. out of Spartanburg, SC! Rockers has concocted a brand new, highly limited line they call "Ales From The Dark Side". The first in this new series is Black Perle, a "90 Minute Octo-Hopped Dark IPA" weighing in at 9.5% ABV! This big beer is a great value and should sell fast, don't miss out!

An A on beeradvocate is a great indicator, but there aren't enough reviews yet on ratebeer for a numeric score.  However, anything described as "octo-hopped" just has to be good.

CBX lives at 14 Exchange Street in downtown Charleston.  Now get out there and buy local!
