From a Scotch Maverick to a Maverick Kitchen, this is one dinner you will not want to miss at the Old Village Post House as they host Compass Box Whisky for a special dinner on Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Started in 2000 by a fellow maverick, John Glaser, Compass Box Whisky is a specialist Scotch whisky maker. One of the few American Master Scotch Makers, John Glaser fine-tuned his first whiskies in his kitchen and is now known as one of the most respected whisky makers of his generation. He has introduced some of the first innovations in decades to the craft of making and blending Scotch which appeals to a variety of styles and tastes.

The dinner will highlight scotches and whiskies from Compass Box Whiskey’s Signature Range including Asyla, a blend of soft, fruity malt whiskies with rich, sweet grain whiskies. Asyla is the lightest of the range and has won the most awards. Mark Pruckner, Brand Manager for Premier Beverage and representative of Compass Box Whisky, will be in attendance to shed more light on the craft of scotch whiskies. Chef de Cuisine Forrest Parker and Chef Frank Lee have created a delicious menu that underlines the flavors from the scotch whiskies.
