Trident United Way is once again organizing the 'Day of Caring' event to bring the community together and help those in need.

With more than 6,500 volunteers signed up from Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties, this year's Trident United Way's event is the largest Day of Caring in the nation, with the value of labor and supplies topping $1 million.

On Friday, September 11, the volunteers will head out and assist numerous nonprofit organizations in their quest to better the lives of other in our community.
