Downtown Charleston's Mellow Mushroom will be hosting its first ever photo-shoot for their spring 2010 t-shirts designed by Charleston Fashion Week's 2009 Emerging Designer Finalist, Emily Bargeron, coming up on Friday January 29th.

The press release had this to say about the upcoming event:

Emily Bargeron is a fashion and accessories designer based in Savannah, Ga. Mamie Ruth is named after her fashionable grandmother who taught her the basics of fashion as a little girl. All of Emily Bargeron’s designs are made from recycled materials such as vintage fabrics, broaches, charms, and chains. Emily Bargeron says “I eat, sleeps, and breathe creativity. I love bright colors, and 70's inspired prints. I never wear black.”

Mellow Mushroom has teamed up with a variety of designers and artists on their Spring 2010 catalog that will be coming out soon. Mellow Mushroom picked Mamie Ruth’s mushroom heart design for their Valentine's Day t-shirt. There will also be two other Mamie Ruth designs in the catalog. The shirts will be available at all Mellow Mushrooms nationwide.
