Local yogis support a child in need

Charleston Power Yoga is donating all proceeds from the studio's March 12th classes to benefit the treatment of Sullivan Poe Bailey, a very sick little girl.

"Sweet Sullie", is the 3 month old daughter of College of Charleston graduate Travis Bailey and wife Rebecca.  Sullie has recently been diagnosed with West syndrome, or chronic infantile spasms causing developmental delays.  The Baileys were forced to begin medical treatment in hopes of preventing further damage caused by the syndrome.

The catch?

Medicine for Sullie's treatment will cost the couple upwards of $100,000- just for the care she needs now.

The Bailey's have set up a PayPal account accessible through Sweetsullie.org for donations.  In the meantime, local organizations like Charleston Power Yoga are joining together to help the family.  If you can't attend any of the classes below and happen to be in Columbia this weekend, make sure to check out Sullie's charity brunch on March 13th.

Whether you see it as another crack in the healthcare system or just a young family in need, take a minute to help out their cause.
