Xavier Rudd and Izintaba will be playing their globally-influenced collage of world music at The Windjammer on September 1st.

Australian multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Xavier Rudd is released his fourth album, Koonyum Sun, on April 20, 2010. The album was the first collaboration among Rudd, bassist Tio Moloantoa and percussionist Andile Nqubezelo.

Over the last few years, Rudd graced stages at festivals around the globe, including the Bonnaroo Music Festival, Ottawa Bluesfest, The Great Escape, Bumbershoot, and Austin City Limits. He played in Charleston at the Music Farm in 2009, but not with his new friends that make up Izintaba.

Tickets to the 9 p.m. show are on sale now for $20 each.
