With Vickery's out, Taco Boy takes over as downtown's Halloween hot spot (update: party pics)

First reporting:

Mourning the loss of Vickery’s legendary Halloween party, Taco Boy downtown has announced they'll be throwing a big bash in their honor this year.

Costume cash prizes, food and drink specials, games, live music from Dub Island and the Dubplates and more are in store. And, in traditional Taco Boy fashion, both location will be serving up Day of the Dead specials all week long.

For the downtown Halloween party, families and kids are welcome to join in on the fun until 6 p.m. Once 8 p.m. rolls around, the debauchery begins and everyone in attendance is required to be 21+.

Oh, and if you really want to get into the fiesta fun, you could win a private taco truck party for 30 guests for whoever wears the best Taco Boy costume.

The Halloween Bash is set for October 30th at Taco Boy Downtown, located at 217 Huger Street

Update November 1:

The Charleston City Paper hit up Taco Boy's Halloween bash and took some photos of the costumed masses.

Hop over and check out the slideshow and recount Saturday night's packed-out party.
