A taste of country in downtown Charleston at the Lowcountry Hoedown

With fiddles, a taste of the more country side of the South is coming to downtown Charleston at the Lowcountry Hoedown on Saturday, November 10,  from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Bus Shed.

Here are more details:

This all-inclusive affair pays homage to some of Charleston & the South’s most delicious foods, beverages, and entertainment.

If it’s from South of the Mason-Dixon Line and East of the Mississippi, it’s fit for this Hoedown. Sip & swig on delicious cocktails from moonshine & bourbon distilleries, while nibbling your way through tasty Southern treats, including samples from the best Lowcountry BBQ joints in town. Of course, no Hoedown is complete without dancing, so plan to get down to the funky rhythms of The Corduroy Road and BlueBilly Grit, winners of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition.

Tickets are on sale on now at www.lowcountryhoedown.com or at Bottles at 610 Coleman Blvd in Mt. Pleasant. Tickets are $50 if purchased in advance, $60 at the door, with 10% of ticket sales proceeds benefiting Lowcountry Local First.
