Yo! Art Project and Yoga Benefits Kids are holding a spring social event to raise awareness for the need of enrichment programs within Charleston County Title I schools. The gathering takes place on May 7th in the Blind Tiger courtyard during the French Quarter Art Walk from 5 to 8 p.m.

Both Yoga Benefits Kids and Yo Art Project give superior programming to students who attend schools with high poverty levels.

The evening will showcase multimedia artwork created by Yo Art Project participants and a silent auction of items and packages donated by local residents and businesses who support the principle that enriched minds and active bodies lead to healthy, productive decisions.

Take part in this collaborative event to learn more about the messages of these influential organizations, mingle with like-minded people interested in the future of our youth, and enjoy a beautiful evening outdoors. The auction portion of the evening begins promptly at 6 p.m. and lasts until 7:30 p.m. Unique auction items can be purchased using cash or checks and include one-of-a-kind artwork, getaways, spa packages, tickets to other spring events, and much more.

Tickets cost only $10 and includes food, beverages, and music by Brazilian jazz guitarist Duda Lucena.

Blind Tiger Pub is located at 38 Broad Street, downtown.
