Put on your boogie and celebrate the summer at this Saturday's Shaggin’ on the Pier party.

People of all ages are invited out to dance on the water at the Mount Pleasant Pier beginning at 8 p.m. Live music courtesy of the Shem Creek Boogie Band will have you shaking all night long.

Tickets are limited, so advance purchase is recommended. Food, beverage or parking fees are not included in ticket price, so be sure to bring along some extra cash.

The Mount Pleasant Pier is located at 71 Harry Hallman Boulevard, underneath of the Cooper River Bridge.
