Second Sunday on King Street is taking over Calhoun to Queen on November 13th from 1 to 5 p.m.

King Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic as businesses invite everyone to enjoy the best shopping, dining and services the region has to offer, both on the sidewalks and in the street.

This go-round will feature an early appearance by Santa for the kiddies, a meet-and-greet with The Post and Courier's Frank Wooten, Gene Sapakoff, Melanie Balog, Brian Hicks, Warren Peper and Shirley Greene, live painting and a chance to win Jimmy Buffet tickets.

As always, there will be music. This Sunday you can look out for Celtic fiddling ensemble Na Fidléirí in front of the Charleston Library Society with musicians from the Taylor Festival Choir. On Lower King Street you'll also hear Shrimp City Slim and Nikolai Svishev. Be on the lookout for Gravel Road, Austin Fitzhenry, Michael Lindsey, accordianist Matt Lohan, and musicians from the Wando High School Orchestra.
