Moms, Greeks and a rodeo: It's the weekend round-up

First and foremost, we'd like to wish all the moms out there a very happy Mother's Day weekend. Without you, there would be no us. We love ya.

Next our agenda is to clue you in to all the exciting events taking place this weekend in our fair city. We've got a big ol' Greek Festival happening downtown, the 21st Annual Walterboro Rodeo taking place in your guessed it, Walterboro, and for all of you with a green thumb out there, there's the 2010 Native Plant Symposium.

If you hadn't heard, May is bike month and Charleston, so get out there and pedal hard. This weekend is also the College of Charleston's graduation, so for the love of all things holy, stay away from campus all day Saturday. Consider yourself warned.

Sunday is Mother's Day, so do something nice for your momma and take her out on the town. The Charleston City Paper has a solid list of activities and places that are mom-centric and is absolutely worth taking a peek at.

If you're looking for more fun this weekend, you should check out both the Charleston City Paper's weekend round-up as well as TheDigitel's complete Events Calendar.
