Holiday magic returns to the Lowcountry with the annual Holiday Festival of Lights

Bring the family together to celebrate a Lowcountry holiday tradition at Charleston’s most beloved nighttime event - the Holiday Festival of Lights.

With over two million shimmering lights, this three-mile driving tour delivers more light displays each year, with over 700 shining displays this season. The light show is set to begin November 11th and will continue through January 1st at the James Island County Park.

This year’s event will kick off with a grand opening celebration on Friday, November 11th, featuring a tree lighting ceremony and the announcement of the winners of the greeting card and gingerbread house competitions. The opening ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. and activities are included with festival admission price.

Festival hours are 5:30 – 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5:30 – 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
